Well firstly, welcome to my very first portfolio site. It has only been live a few days now, but thanks very much for all those that have had a look. It is still in its teething stage and this website is in no way designed to be viewed in Internet Explorer 6. If you are viewing in IE6, I recommend you upgrade to IE7.
A little bit about me
My name is Taryn Sligh. I have recently graduated from De Montfort University studying Interactive Design in July 2008. It was during my time here that I discovered my passion for web design, video and motion graphics. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work with Peter Hemming at Hemmster Multimedia. After a summer placement I became part-time with the company during my degree. I then moved to a full-time position in July 2008 and have since enjoyed working on projects with Hemmster Multimedia to build up a portfolio I feel very proud of.
My experience at Hemmster Multimedia has ignited my enthusiasm to work within the industry and continue to do what I enjoy most. It was here that I had very exciting opportunities and challenges. I was presented with great responsibilities which included being sent to a number of countries in Europe, filming and editing for an important project. This can be viewed on my portfolio video section.
I am based in Leicester of Leicestershire.

I am more experienced using Apple Mac OS X although capable of using the majority of these applications on Windows XP.
